The Hi2u 4 people with hidden impairments, web site became available on the
internet during the year 2000. Then this site gave significant attention to the
artistic skills many people with hidden impairments have. Sometimes these
skills were showing very early in their lives. So it seemed appropriate to
highlight these skills to help compensate for the negative images society has
placed on many people with hidden impairments like ADHD, Asperger's syndrome and
similar neurological differences.
With the amount of work building this site we started drifting away from art and
spending time on other issues. So now we are planning to put art back into a
priority subject in this site. Not just for hidden impairments. We are intending
to open up this part of the Hi2u site for all disabled artists and maybe more.

The above drawing is the art work of Chris Hayes, who has ADHD and Asperger's Syndrome. Chris did this drawing after returning from an ADHD conference when he was 13 years old. Chris's art skills were also recognised by the disability now, newspaper where a number of his drawings have been used. Chris also provides much art work for this site. To see more of Chris's art work use the following.
